The European Partnership for Clean Sport in Tertiary Education (“EPCS-TE”) Project was presented at the 11th International Conference on Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS) that took place from 3 to 5 November 2025 at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen in Nice, France. The Conference was organized by the International Society for the Study of Emerging Drugs (ISSED), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the Addiction Science Laboratory, the University of Trento, and the University of Hertfordshire, and brought together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, toxicologists, and international stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in NPS science, regulation, and public health.

Project EPCS-TE was presented by Dr. Thomas Zandonai from the University of Trento that is a Partner to the EPCS-TE project and Professor Lambros Lazuras from the University of Lincoln, external advisor to the EPCS-TE consortium. In their presentations, Dr. Zandonai and Prof. Lazuras showcased Project EPCS-TE ongoing efforts to strengthen educational frameworks across Europe and enhance cooperation between academic institutions and national anti-doping organisations.

The 2025 hybrid edition of the Conference welcomed over 250 participants from more than 40 countries, reaffirming its role as one of the leading global events for scientific exchange and policy dialogue on emerging substances and anti-doping issues.
